The Boston Comedy Festival Contest has become known for its ability to provide significant breaks to up-and-coming comics. This is a great chance to see talented comedians destined to be household names.
With Special Guest John Moses:
John Moses has been performing for over 10 years, getting his start at Yuk Yuk’s comedy club in Toronto. He’ll be recording a comedy CD at COMIX to air on Sirius radio and sell on iTunes and Amazon.com. John Moses is an equal opportunity offender – his comedy appeals to everyone from the young to the old, from the upstanding citizen to the morally bankrupt. His style has been described as shrewd, raw, and uncompromisingly funny. After performing for over 10 years at Yuk Yuk’s comedy club in Toronto, Moses took his act on the road, appearing at colleges and clubs through the United States, Canada, and the UK. He writes, produces, and stars in his own short films, and is a favorite at comedy festivals including The Great Canadian Laugh Off and The Boston Comedy Festival. Currently, Moses can be heard on Sirius XM Radio’s Raw Dog Comedy channel and will be recording his shows at COMIX for broadcast on Sirius.
