Andy recurred on Everybody Loves Raymond, Comedy Central’s The Root of All Evil and Fox’s Bob’s Burgers, and he has appeared on the HBO Young Comedians Special, Late Night with Conan O’Brian, The Daily Show, Dr. Katz Professional Therapist, Home Movies and The Larry Sanders Show. Andy delivers the State of the Industry Address each year at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal.

Blending a unique mixture of lunacy that includes physical humor, impersonations and stylized caricatures of nightclub singers Meaney has become one of the country's most popular standup comedians. His credits also include the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, appearances on Late Night With Conan O'Brien, Saturday Night Live, and Oprah. In addition, Meany starred in the CBS sitcom Uncle Buck, was featured in the film Big, and most recently the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and 30 Rock. Somerville Theatre Sept 22nd 2012 8pm $18 Boston Comedy Festival Finals 96 comedians from across the country are setting their sights on Boston this September as they prepare for the week-long Boston Comedy Festival where they will go head-to-head in front of industry judges for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to launch their careers. This year’s festival takes place September 16th-22, 2012. How it works Over the course of one week, 96 comics tell their best jokes in front of industry judges, competing in a preliminary round. Four winners from each prelim then move onto the semi-finals and finally, the best of the best compete in one final round for the title of Grand Prize winner, and $10,000 in cash. The top comedic talents are also seen by the biggest names in the comedy industry, including agents, club bookers, and network television scouts. Success stories from alumni from the Boston Comedy Festival are varied and numerous. Joe Wong (2003 Finalist, 2003/2005 Contestant) was spotted at the Boston Comedy Festival by a David Letterman Show talent scout, and has since appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and headlined the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner. Shane Mauss (2006 Finalist) completed his first TV special, Comedy Central Presents: Shane Mauss, and has also appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and Live at Gotham.
