City Winery Boston & Boston Comedy Festival Present: Comedy & Cabernet. The best in local comedy and wine! The Boston Comedy Festival has been decanting the best comedy shows in New England for over 20 years. You have seen these comedians on Drybar, HBO, Team Coco, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Comedy Central, and headlining your favorite club or theater.

Jim McCue Jim McCue A mixture of witty “A-list material” and his ability to work off-script has earned Jim McCue the title “Boston’s King of Crowd Work!” It’s not only his height of six foot six that makes Jim stand head and shoulders above club comedians of the “stick-to-the-script” variety. Jim blends thought-provoking material and uncanny improv … Jim McCue went viral with his DryBar special “nothing personal” which has had over 4 million viewers, Jim has been featured on Comedy Central, Comcast Comedy Spotlight, NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” RedEye on Fox news, Live at Gotham AXS. Jim has toured the globe Entertaining our troops and wrote a book called Embedded Comedian describing some of his adventures.

Will Smalley Will Smalley is a purveyor of the silly-arts and a dude-lover extraordinaire. As an established LGBTQ+ voice in the comedy scene, Will is a former finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and has been featured in the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland, OR. In addition to being a mainstay at the major comedy clubs and colleges across the Northeast, Will serves as the announcer/producer for Old School Game Show at the Wilbur Theater.

Maria Palombi Maria Palombi is an anecdotal comedian that tells jokes about the ridiculously funny realities of being a queer woman born and raised in Italy and moving to the States. Her home stage is in various Boston venues but she has also ventured out and gone bi-coastal to bring laughs to stages at the Laugh Factory and Second City Chicago thanks to World Comedy Expo, the Comedy Chateau in LA, Salem Comedy Festival and recently the Boston Comedy Festival, Asheville Comedy Festival and Burbank Comedy Festival. When she is not talking about the serendipitous humor of this mortal existence, she is fighting for worthy social causes she cares deeply about – like abolishing pineapple as a pizza topping once and for all.
